As you walk through the city, you may still see some trees uprooted by the storm, not yet replanted or removed. Hanoians are still working to overcome the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi and standing side by side with the rest of the country to support the flood-affected people in the northern provinces. In challenging times like these, we witness a united and compassionate Vietnam, and a resilient, kind-hearted Hanoi. The color green is gradually returning as life continues to flourish. Despite the hardships, we still treasure every moment of joy, collect every smile, and share faith in the goodness around us. This autumn, Hanoi will be even more beautiful with the presence of Green Wind Choir. The concert “Việt Nam thương mến – Loving Vietnam 2024” will take place on the evenings of October 12 and 13, 2024, at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, 77 Hào Nam, Hanoi.
A special gift for the Hanoi audience, to thank them for the love they have given to Green Wind over the past five years. At the concert “Việt Nam thương mến – Loving Vietnam 2024”, conductor Nguyễn Hải Yến, the Green Wind Choir, the Green Wind Band, and guest artists will come together to deliver a truly unique experience for the audience.
A unique musical work – “𝑀𝑢̛𝑎 𝑟𝑜̛𝑖” performed in Acapella style, a harmonious composition praising life in favorable weather, a simple wish for all of us, especially after going through storms.
A lively ”𝐿𝑦́ 𝑁𝑔𝑢̛̣𝑎 𝑂̂ “ from Hue folk music, a timeless wish for reunion.
A heartfelt and proud “𝑁𝑔𝑢̛𝑜̛̀𝑖 𝐻𝑎̀ 𝑁𝑜̣̂𝑖” performed with passion by those living on this thousand-year-old cultural land.
Especially, this year’s program features a special segment named “Góc tối” (Dark Corner), moments of deep reflection, where you can just sit quietly, let the music flow into you, touch you, soothe you, lift you, and awaken the inner strength within you.
With songs like 𝑊𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑎𝑏𝑒 – 𝑆𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑢𝑝 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 and 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑢𝑠, international songs performed for the first time by Green Wind Choir, promising to bring an explosion of emotions to the audience, with both vibrant melodies and unprecedented performances on Green Wind’s stage.
Many surprises await you on the evenings of October 12-13, at the Grand Concert Hall, Vietnam National Academy of Music, 77 Hào Nam, Hanoi.
As every year, Green Wind will reserve around 300 seats for children from social protection centers in Hanoi to enjoy the concert. Some children who love singing will be personally trained by conductor Hải Yến and will perform with the choir in the program.
